Dr. Mitch Goodkin has dedicated his life to the service of others, excelling in both healthcare and education. He attended New York Chiropractic College, where he distinguished himself as editor-in-chief of the college newspaper, student leader of O.A.S.I.S., and co-founder of the practice management club. In 1992, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and obtained licensure in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Dr. Goodkin partnered with a thriving chiropractic practice in Virginia—which focused on military and pediatric patients—and later, back in Merrick, he established Goodkin Family Chiropractic. His approach to chiropractic care is rooted in a deep commitment to patient well-being, emphasizing compassionate, personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s specific health needs.

With decades of experience, he is well versed in a variety of chiropractic techniques and methods, offering traditional chiropractic adjustments or "no-crack", low-force instrument based treatments. Fundamentally, however, Dr. Goodkin understands that TRUST is a crucial component of effective health care, and he strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered on their journey to better health.
